"I never thought it would be something big. I never thought it could take off like this, like... how it did. I wasn't sure if I should've been happy, or terrified. In all honesty, hindsight is 20/20, and I should've been terrified. Please, I beg of you, stop looking into this."

The "O.R.R.C.A. Operation" was a closed-community fanwork and writing project created by CandyStoreTrigger3501, after the initial success of the SCP Foundation sometime in 2009. Supposedly, its first article was first posted on a now-defunct Geocities webpage before being reposted several times on the /x/ Paranormal message boards on 4Chan, a relaunching of the website in 2010, before being abruptly shut down in late 2015.
The O.R.R.C.A. Operation, in an interview conducted by myself in preparation for this project, stood for "Observe, Research, Retaliate, Control, Administer," which was the standard procedure for cataloguing and examining the fanworks known as "Entities." To preface this now, these entities are entirely FICTIONAL, and thus have no attachment nor bearing to the real, physical world. Users of the former site and restoration project officials, who may sometimes breach their terms of service, have claimed and/or argued that these specimens are in fact, very much real. These messages are to be ignored and moderated at all costs, as validity of their statements should be held with much scrutiny in regards to events like excommunication and decanonization that may invoke such feelings.
Users had described the general theming, and subsequently, art style and direction, to be comparable to that of a potluck. Each user had developed their own style, and although there was some overlap between different entities' and their articles' writing or art styles, it was... disorganized. Allegedly, at least.
Ever since the relaunching of this webpage, many theories have been exchanged in regards to the original wikidot's closure. One theory is that the fanworks had become too closely-associated with the SCP Foundation, and thus resulted in a takedown, predatory or not.
Another, more plausible, is that the owners of the website, one CandyStoreTrigger3501 (CST) and EtherealVengeance (EV), no longer had time to moderate the wiki. And, with a user count of roughly 30, per CandyStoreTrigger's own memory, there was simply not enough interest in keeping it afloat.
As a result of the wikidot's closure, and without any captures from the Internet Archive in regards to both the Geocities AND Wikidot, most of the site is considered lost media. As of the writing of this introduction, running this site for roughly over one year, very little articles have been recovered.
What has been recovered is very, very interesting. It piques our interest, and thus, our research may never conclude.
